The First Shift Program - Endings and New Beginnings
On February 29th, after 5 months of skating, skills, stick banging, goal tending, shooting, scoring and laughter The First Shift Program came to an end here at WSMHA. Our participants who ranged in age from 6 to 10 years old, tried their first go at hockey during these past months. The WSMHA, partnering with Bauer and Hockey Canada, were proud to bring this program to Stouffville and the surrounding community. A huge Thank You goes out to our On Ice Ring Leader, Paul Johnson, and his Band of Merry Men who showed up bright and early every Saturday morning and brought smiles to faces of our newest hockey players!
We hope to see all of The First Shift faces around the rinks again!
