Great Start!!
The Peewee AE Clippers have had a great start to the second half of thier regular season.
After finishing off the first half with 3 ties in a row, the Peewee Clippers have added 2 wins in a row to their season.
On October 27th, the Clippers travelled to Beeton for their third game this season against the Stingers. The 1st game was a win for the Clippers in Stoufville, the 2nd game played in Beeton was a loss. On their third matchup the Clippers walked away with a 6-1 win. Goals credited to #7 Messina, Brandon Harrington, Tyler Brown, Tyler Perret-Swirla and 2 to Carson Weeks. Assists went to Tyler Sinclair, Michael Vasconcelos, Tyler Perret-Swirla, Brody Krabi, Carson Weeks and 2 each to Brett McNeil and Cole Miller.
The Clippers went on to Alliston to face off against TNT on November 1st. Their last matchup only days before in Stouffville resulted in a 0-0 tie to break the Tornados 6 game winning streak. The match up in Alliston proved to be an exciting action packed game. The Tornados took the lead in the 1st and kept their lead going into the 2nd. The Clippers came back to tie it up with 32 seconds left on the clock in the second period, goal by Brody Krabi, assist to Tyler Brown. The action continued and Parker Strupp stayed solid in net to maintain a tie right through to the end of the 3rd period. With 30 seconds on the clock Carson Weeks was able to get 1 more past the pipes of the Tornados goalie to take the win with a 2-1 final.
The Clipper resume regular season play Tuesday November 2nd against EG at the Clipper Complex at 8PM.
