Spectacular Home Opener
The Minor Bantam AE team skated off with a spectacular 7-4 win in the season opener.
The boys made their way to the Magna Centre in Newmarket to face the Newmarket Redmen on Monday September 13th. The season opener proved to be action packed and a great beginning for the boys. Starting in net for the season opener, Trevor Beaudoin maintained a good lead throughout the game with timely and noteworthy saves. Goals were credited to Ryan Nelson, Tyler Wright, Justin Pelowich-Pickup, Jason, Mistelbacher, Liam Timewell, Jackson Newlands (2), and assists to Chad Harbour, Chris Carter, Newlands, Wright, Carter King, Pelowich-Pickup and Cody Leonard (2). If last night's game was an indicator of the season to come...the Minor Bantam AE Clippers will be a force to be reckoned with.The boys continue their quest for another outstanding season tonight at the Aurora Recreation Centre vs Aurora Tigers at 7:45pm .
