December 26th:Our player of the game is
Ethan Hawco. Ethan is a very reliable and consistent player. He is also one of our better two way players and always provides an offensive spark with his play making ability. This game proved no exception. Ethan continued with his strong defensive play in his own end looking to take the puck away from the opposition and start the rush backup the ice. In the offensive zone, Ethan pressured the opposition with his continuous forechecking which translated into many good scoring chances for his teammates. On two separate occasions, Ethan’s forechecking lead directly to two of our four goals. This was a close game throughout and ended in a 4 –1 win. Ethan’s dedication to playing in both ends of the rink makes him a special player and a joy to coach.

December 27th: Our player of the game is Rogan Wawryk. Rogan is one of our better defensemen who is reliable and steady on his skates. He has good hockey sense and is usually in the proper position to counter the opposition’s attack. This ability allows Rogan to break up the opposition’s play and turn the puck up the ice to one of his forwards. It is Rogan’s solid defensive play that gives his team a chance to win every week. This time it helped his team to a close 5 -4 win. Good defensive ability is sometimes overlooked on a team that scores as many goals as we do… but not by his coach.
