The MBAA Clippers kicked off the 2011-2012 season with 4 days away at hockey camp led by the Coaches, and assisted by counsellors at Teen Ranch.
It was an intensive 4 days with 6 ice sessions, and plenty of team bonding time.

Coach Joe passed along these remarks:
"The coaching staff is very pleased on the way the boys worked in practice. We worked on breakouts, power play, penalty killing and lots and lots of skating. We pushed them hard and they responded. And don't worry they won't stink anymore after hockey.... The shower rule was applied and all MBAA Clippers followed!!
Off ice the feedback was positive from the camp and from Teen Ranch counsellors, Billy and Mike. All the activities were done as a TEAM and the bonding fell into place. The kids even asked, "Can you call our parents and ask them if they can pick us up Friday?""
Off ice, the boys enjoyed campfires, jousting, horseback riding, kayaking, and all the amazing amenities at Teen Ranch.
All in all, an amazing experience for the boys and for the Coaches, and a great way to kick off the off the season!! With inspiration from Coach John, commitment from Kenny and Ryan, everything fell into place. It's a definite for seasons to come.
