Clippers Take Title
Clippers took the momentum from Sundays' tournament to carry into Tuesday's big game 5 clash with the TNT Tornadoes for the York Simcoe Title!

This series had been back and forth with all games going to the vistors. This game turned out to be more of the same.

The crowd was electric as both sets of fans showed their colours in fine form and were buzzing the whole game. The match started and ended with both teams giving their all.

A big stop early in the match by Ro-Dog on a breakaway showed the opponents that he was ready and was going to be hard to beat on this night. After exchanging chances and giveaways, Marcello managed to fend off defenders to scored a beauty by sliding a puck past the TNT tender, who also was unbeatable to this point.

A scoreless second had the ice tilted slightly to TNT's favour including some power-plays chances. The crew fended them off and started the third up by one...a few bounces into the third and TNT managed to tie it up on a jam play.

The Clippers fought hard to take the lead but again the officiating had them down a man including the last 1:40 of the third where a gallant defence finally squashed the TNT attack...overtime was to be had for the second time in the series.

The Clippers looked confident in the OT period but again found themselves down a man...a frantic 2 minutes followed but the D and Rowan weren't to be denied on this night. With full strength now restored the Clippers went on the attack and put on a furious attack that lead to Jack P back-handing the winner over the crowded crease of TNT...what a finish to a fantastic game.

Everyone enjoyed what turned out to be the most entertaining game of the year! 2 Championships in as many games for the boys! An unbelievable finish to a rough start of the season where we managed a couple titles and an overall 500 record AND more importantly, really coming togather as a team by putting into action what they had learned!!! Again well done to the whole gang
