Another Tie!
Well, the kids did it again! They had a terrific game, they hustled and kept their feet moving. Out came Richmond Hill, ready as well.
In the first period Fam with a pass from Lucas and an assist by Mason were able to start the game with the first goal! But then Richmond Hill answered back, making it a tie game.
Then in the second period, Nicholas came out of their end and passed it up to Lucas who got a breakaway and scored the second goal!
The kids held onto the lead for most of the game. Luca was having a great game in net with the help of his defense. Who were trying to keep the puck out of their end and holding the other team against the boards, digging it out and shooting it up.
With a couple of rushes down the ice by Hayden, then Cole picking up the puck and skating out of the their zone and down the ice almost getting a break away added to the excitement. But the Richmond Hill defense was tough to get through.
Into the third period, Richmond Hill scored to tie up the game. Matthew then carried the puck up into Richmond Hill's end and passed it out to Michael who took a shot, rebound came out to Sebastian and they scored again. But the other team was able to get through and score in the last couple minutes and the game ended in a tie.
It was very exciting! Now a weekend full of hockey, first down to Markham and then another home game with Richmond Hill.
