Waxers vs Clippers
The
Clippers visited the Markham Waxers in the second tilt in two weeks. Parker
West opened up the scoring for the Clippers in the 1st period, with
the goal being assisted by Will Crix and Anthony Vessio. The Waxers answered in
the 1st period to tie the game at 1-1. Wesley Redshaw put the
Clippers ahead 2-1, with Cooper Atkinson assisting on the goal.
Markham added a power-play goal in the second period to again tie the game at 2s. The Clippers made a strong push in the final two minutes but the final score ended in a 2-2 tie.
Next up for the Clippers, they play in the Northumberland Silver Stick Tournament, good luck boys!
