BANTAM AE CLIPPERS ADVANCE TO SILVERSTICK FINALS
The Stouffville Clippers Bantam AE team completed a very successful run at the Silver Stick in Georgina this past weekend, finishing as finalists and earning the Silver medal. The team went unbeaten in the round robin , defeating Richmond Hill 8-1, tying Oakville 1-1 and a victory over Stoney Creek 1-0 clinching first place in the division .The team was again victorious in the semi-final game ,earning a well deserved win against Barrie Colts 4-1. The boys put up a good fight in the finals but came up a little short against the champions Brampton 45's , losing a close game 2-0 .
The highly successful weekend was topped off by an Invite to the Silver Stick Finals in Pelham Ontario on Jan 7th -10th
The team had a great tournament overall, working hard and keeping in mind the priorities for the season, to play with character, effort and intensity. Congratulations to the entire team: Tim Arnold, Sam Roy, Nathan Tratnick, Jordan Lewis, Jacob Turney, Jack Valleau, Ryan Cusack, Nick Olidis, Michael Messina, Michael Hary, Liam Maclnnis, Robert Hume, Andrew Levesque, Mark Assal, Mathieu Kovak, Sam Luff and Juan Rivera.
