Minor Atom AE 2017 Pickering Spring Thaw Tournament Champions
After a 23-2-3 regular season record and a 3rd round appearance in the OMHA Championship Series, the 2007 Minor Atom AE team are now the 2017 Pickering Spring Thaw Tournament Champions!
They posted a 3-1 record in the round robin beating Brampton 8-3, Pickering 5-0 and Stoney Creek 4-2. Their only loss was 1-0 to Peterborough, who was the same team that knocked them out in the 3rd round of the OMHA'S.
The team continued strong with a 4-1 win over Northumberland in the semi-finals.
Finals were against Peterborough.
As destiny would have it, the Clippers brought the GOLD home 2-1 in double overtime.
Congratulations team, you all worked hard, listened well and had respect for the whole year.
