COVID-19 Procedures: Please Read Carefully This space at Canlan Sports - Scarborough permits a MAXIMUM of 22 participants, based on Provincial regulations. For Canlan Sports - Scarborough, everyone, 12 years or older, that enter the facility MUST show proof of double vaccination by providing a valid photo ID and a vaccine slip/receipt/pdf or government issued QR code anyone without proper double vaccination status will be asked to leave the building immediately with no refund or credit alternatives. Medical exceptions must be accompanied by a doctor’s note. The Safety Plan is detailed as follows: 1. All players and coaches will wear properly fitting masks at all times while inside the facility except when they are on the ice. 2. All players and coaches will prescreen using Canlan’s COVID prescreening site prior to entry into the complex http://canlansports.com/check-in/ The form can only be completed on the day of their scheduled ice time. 3. All participants must advise the contract holder in advance if they are not feeling well or have any symptoms – and they MUST NOT ATTEND THE COMPLEX. 4. In the event a player or coach receives a positive test for Covid-19 they will alert the Contract holder who will in turn alert the Canlan complex. 5. We encourage all patrons to use hand sanitizer as they enter and leave the building. 6. There is to be no sharing of water bottles. Each bottle must be clearly labeled with skater’s name. 7. Spitting is prohibited. No exceptions. 8. Injury: In the event of Injury, the player should minimize contact with others and the staff of the complex should be alerted immediately. In the event an ambulance is needed, where possible, one other player should handle the injured player's equipment and notes on who touches whom should be kept. 9. Showers are permitted; however, the room must be vacated no more than 15 minutes after leaving the ice surface. It is IMPERATIVE that these rules are followed. Any contract holder or skaters using the contracted ice must follow all rules as outlined. If any skater, coach, or instructor is found to be not following the rules, there will be ONE warning issued. If this happens a second time the ice surface will be immediately cleared, and the rental will be cancelled without refund. By booking this time slot, you are agreeing to all Province of Ontario and Canlan Sports COVID Policies and protocols.
