Clippers Minor Bantam A-Donation to the Food Bank
Submitted By Laurie Daniels on Thursday, October 14, 2010
Congratulations to the Stouffville Clippers Minor Bantam A team for their FANTASTIC job at selling raffle tickets on September 25th with half of the proceeds going to the local Food Bank!

The boys were posted outside of numerous local stores (No Frills, TD Bank & Canadian Tire) selling tickets.  Thanks to these stores for allowing our boys to sell tickets and support the community in front of their stores.  The boys raised $1800 from the sale (and some donations too!) and will be donating 1/2 of the proceeds to the local Food Bank!  Thanks to all of those who bought tickets to help us raise these funds!

It's important for our kids to give back to the community and we are very proud of the boys for doing such a great job!

There will be a presentation of the cheque to the local Food Bank on Friday October 29th at 6:30pm at the Clippers Complex. Please come out and support our boys!

GREAT JOB!
