Next up - Novice!!!
Submitted By Sharon Taylor on Tuesday, June 29, 2010
Hi folks... We are happy to see you here in our new "House League Home". Did you know that House League represents more than 1/2 of the WSMHA membership and volunteer base?

Novice is the next step after the initiation program for our developing hockey kids (born 2002).  It's an exciting time for the players - gaining new hockey and skating skills, learning more about some of the rules of hockey (like offside), and for many, the first signs of "thinking the game" come to life as they learn to pass, go to the open ice, and skate back to defend in their zone.

Mostly, it's fun and friendly, and supported by a lot of great volunteers who all have one thing in common - loving the sport of hockey and generously giving of themselves to help kids enjoy Canada's game!

Registration is still open, so don't be shy, come give it a try.
