House League Player Practices
The Hockey Season is now in full swing, and all of our House League players from the Initiation Program through to the Juveniles, have been out on the ice for their first practices of the season.
These practices are particularly important as we have evaluators watching the kids to assess and rank player skills so we can set-out balanced House League teams. This process will take a few weeks. Once complete, the coaches will have their set teams and contact each of their players to introduce him or herself, welcome the player to the team, and to provide some preliminary information about the upcoming schedule.
Players will receive their team jerseys and socks once the teams are set-up.
Our House League website will soon have the practice / game schedule set-up so you can look to the website for this information throughout the season. House League team rosters and coaches will also be set-up within the next few weeks, once the teams are known.
For now, the priority is getting the players on the ice, having some fun, re-connecting with their hockey friends, and setting up the teams.
A hearty round of thanks to the many, many volunteers and to the convenors who are helping organize us all on and off the ice over the next few weeks while we get the teams going.
