We're finally here - Team Play Ready to Start Up For House League
Submitted By Sharon Taylor on Saturday, October 09, 2010
It's hard to believe it is already October 9th.  With school starting, summer sports concluding and treks to the hockey arena now at least a twice-a-week event, we are finally ready to get our little stars into their team jerseys & socks, and set them up with their new coaches for 2010/2011.

It's a much anticipated event.  For many of our younger players, it's all a bit new and scary ... New teammates, new coaches, and a lot of anticipation. For some, this may be the first time they have joined a team sport!

We encourage all our IP parents to be supportive of your little player and if you have any concerns or insights that will help our coaches get to know your child, please share these with your new coaching team.  Hockey tape with your player's name on the helmet is always a good starting point so your coaches can learn their names more quickly.

Hockey is meant to be fun.  The kids will grow in skill, confidence and team spirit through the next several months and you can count of our volunteer coaching staff to keep focussed on these primary goals throughout the IP season.

Get those videos cameras rolling, parents!  I guarantee you that you will not recognize these little speed demons on the ice in a few short weeks.
