Holiday House League Tournament
Submitted By Kristal Kobold on Monday, January 10, 2011
The lobby outside the Hockey Office was bustling this past December 27th. There were smiles on faces and flashes of cameras. It was the annual House League Holiday Tournament, and it was a blast—especially in the IP division. There were so many little faces, many of them experiencing their first hockey tournament. There were so many proud parents, grandparents, neighbours and coaches! Everyone had a smile. What excitement!

No one could tell you who won a game; everyone was there because they had a great time playing or watching their little one play. There is nothing like sitting at a table with your team mates, sharing Timbits or pizza after an exciting hockey game. And then—to top it off—a trophy! I know from past experience, when the players look back at the trophy they got from their coach, they will have a fantastic memory of their day. Thank you to the spectators, players, coaching staff—to everyone who helped out on that day—and to Joe Palma for organizing it.
