Midget A Clippers to Host OHF's
The Stouffville Clippers Major Midget A team is set to host the Ontario Hockey Federation Championships (OHF's) this coming April 8-10 at the Stouffville Arena.

The tournament will play host to the best Midget A teams from around the province featuring the host Clippers and the championship teams from the four minor hockey leagues in Ontario -- OMHA, Greater Toronto Hockey League, the Alliance, and the Northern Ontario Minor Hockey Association. The Major Midget A team, which includes ten players who won silver at the 2007 OHF championships in Tamiskaming, should give the team much experience playing in a tournament of this caliber, and with so much on the line.

Also, for the up and coming first year Midgets, the eagerness to find success in a tournament of this significance should give the team some much needed depth come April.

A huge thanks goes out to the coaching staff, Don Easter, Ron Bremner, Darryl Sauro, Mark Mcmahon, and Bill Crago for submitting the winning proposal to host the OHF's. This marks the first time since the 2001-2002 season that a team from Stouffville has been chosen to host this prestigious tournament.

We've got a lot of work to do Clippers!

Our team looks forward to support from the WSMHA and the whole Whitchurch-Stouffville hockey community in making this event a huge success! Stay tuned for more news updates.
