(21-22) U18AA Mary Parkinson Memorial AA Tournament Champions
The Stouffville Clippers U18AA team capped off their magical late season run by winning the Mary Parkinson Memorial Tournament on Sunday in Richmond Hill. In what was the final weekend of minor hockey for the 2004 born players on the team, the Clippers continued their resolve to play the right way which culminated in another undefeated weekend – going 5-0-1 and outscoring their opponents 24-9 over the 6 games. It truly was a storybook ending as the team defeated their rival and # 1 ranked team in the province, the Markham Waxers, in the finals 3-2 in a shootout. Caleb Ferguson scored in the 7th round of the shootout while Max Abdee shut down all of the Waxers attempts to give the Clippers the tournament championship. The team played its best hockey when it mattered the most, going undefeated in their final 12 games (11-0-1), collecting two more trophies and proving once and for all that in the 2021-22 season the Stouffville Clippers were one of the best U18AA teams in the province.
