HEAD COACH - JEFF CHAPMAN
Background
I’ve been a high school teacher for 20 years, specializing in law, special education (autism program), and history. Throughout my career, I have coached teenagers in various sports, including hockey, rugby, football, and soccer.
As both a coach and a father of two teenagers, I understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with this age group. Beyond my passion for coaching and teaching, I am deeply committed to mental health and building resilience. Coaching has given me the opportunity to instill valuable life lessons—ones that go beyond the game and prepare athletes for success both on and off the ice.
Coaching Philosophy
My roadmap to success is built on effort, discipline, and a relentless commitment to competing every shift. I will meticulously plan to push players to outwork their opponents, embrace challenges, and develop the mental and physical toughness needed to succeed. Whether in the locker room, on the ice, or during off-ice training, I will foster an environment where athletes can grow in skill, confidence, and leadership.
Greatness begins where comfort ends. To be outstanding we must embrace discomfort, push our limits, and challenge ourselves to be better every day.
