HEAD COACH - CAM BLACK
Background
I am excited to be a part of the U10AA Clippers this season. My passion for coaching comes from my dedication and love for the game.
I played AAA in the MTHL/GTHL before being drafted to the OHL by the Ottawa 67’s. I also played a season of Junior A right here in Stouffville with the Stouffville Spirit. I went on to play for the Ottawa 67’s and Sudbury Wolves in the OHL and then at Sir Wilfrid Laurier University in the CIAU. Throughout my career I played both forward and defence at all levels, which has allowed me to develop a unique perspective on developing players in both positions.
Coaching Philosophy
I have extensive experience coaching and working with hockey schools to assist in developing young hockey players including coaching in AAA. I have been involved with WSMHA now for over 4 years.
I believe that hockey is not only about developing skills but also about building teamwork, discipline, and confidence. My goal is to create a positive, fun environment where players feel encouraged to push their limits while respecting the game and each other. I am dedicated to helping players become better athletes and teammates.
