HEAD COACH - RYAN MARTIN
My name is Ryan Martin, and hockey has been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I had the opportunity to play on many different teams and different levels, AAA being my highest level of hockey played. Competing at a high level challenged me to develop not only my skills, but also my discipline, leadership, and understanding of the game. Those experiences shaped who I am today and continue to influence my approach behind the bench.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of coaching a wide range of age groups, from young athletes just learning the fundamentals to more advanced players refining their competitive edge. Working with different levels has strengthened my ability to adapt my coaching style to meet players where they are. Focusing on skill development, hockey IQ, teamwork, and confidence.
I truly love the game of hockey and everything it teaches. Work ethic, resilience, accountability, and respect. My passion for coaching comes from helping players grow not only as athletes, but as individuals. Seeing their progress, both on and off the ice, is what motivates me every season.
My goal as a coach is to create a positive, competitive environment where players are pushed to reach their full potential while still having fun and developing a lifelong love for the game. Success, to me, is measured not only in wins and championships, but in the character, habits, and team culture we build together.
