(22-23) U15 MD Ajax-Pickering Tournament Champions
The U15MD Clippers saved their best hockey for the Ajax-Pickering Spring Thaw tournament.
The team went undefeated into the finals, starting with a 2-2 comeback tie against the rival Markham Waxers MD1 team. This was followed up with round-robin victories over Ajax-Pickering (2-1), Barrie (2-0) and Markham MD2 (4-2).
After finishing second in the pool on a tiebreaker, the Clippers dominated Barrie in a 3-0 conquest. This set up a rematch with Markham MD1 in the finals.
With the same great goaltending, strong defense and aggressive forechecking they had shown all weekend, the Clippers triumphed 2-1!
Congratulations to the entire team and coaching staff for ending the season on a high point! Well done, Clippers!
