Employment Opportunity- Ice Scheduler

The WSMHA is seeking candidates for the position of Ice Scheduler for the 2018-19 season.  This is a salaried, part-time position covering the period from August 15 to April 15 with a two-week hiatus from December 15-31.  The primary role is to develop, maintain and publish a schedule of on-ice events (principally games and practices) using proprietary scheduling software.  The hours of work are variable but will average approximately 10 hours per week during the employment period.  

Most of the job functions can be performed from home using a personal computer.   The successful candidate will have basic computer skills and some familiarity with minor hockey or similar sports programs.  They must be capable of managing a flexible work schedule.   Interested candidates should contact Charlene at the Hockey Office 905 642-2835 for more information including potential compensation.
