On & Off Ice Officials Needed
Submitted By Charlene Mason on Monday, August 26, 2019
The WSMHA is accepting applications for new referees and timekeepers to join the ranks of officials in Stouffville. Whether you are finishing your minor hockey career and looking for a new challenge or still playing and looking for a new perspective to add another facet to your game, refereeing is a challenging and rewarding way to give back to Canada’s game

Referees must be aged 14 or above as of December 31st. If you are under 14, or want a gentler introduction to the world of officiating, timekeeping is an excellent way to get started. Timekeepers are an essential part of the game, and learn many of the attributes needed to be a referee, with a lesser degree of responsibility.

We are looking for those who are reliable, responsible, professional and motivated to officiate all levels of games, ensuring fairness and safety for the participants. If you enjoy a challenge and feel you have the right temperament, please apply using the “Application” tab on the website navigation bar.
