Midget MD Montreal Champions
Congratulations to our Midget MD team who were champions in
the Canada Cup Tournament in Montreal this past weekend. It was a tough road to the finals, but the
team battled hard to take home the gold!
Friday’s games were Waterloo White (2-2) and Willowdale
(5-5). Saturday’s games were Waterloo
Black (4-2) and Vaughan Rangers (4-1). Undefeated,
the team advanced to the final game on Sunday afternoon against Waterloo White.
The final game kept fans on the edge of their seats with a
3-2 win in overtime.
