Message from the WSMHA President
Submitted By webmaster on Wednesday, March 18, 2020
With the abrupt end of our hockey season, I want to take a moment to acknowledge each and every one of our players, parents, coaches, and volunteers on another amazing winter at the rink. Without the active participation of hundreds of individuals, we simply would not be able to facilitate hockey so successfully in our community.  Thank you!

Four of our Clippers Teams were preparing to play in the final rounds of their respective play downs. Three were about to begin YSMHA Finals and our Minor Midget AA team was ready to bring home #redhats at the OMHA Final. Our hearts go out to everyone involved with these teams; you have made Stouffville proud.

To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Town of WS has closed all town facilities until at least April 14. Our hockey office is also closed to the public, but we are still available by phone 905 642-2835 or email [email protected].

The OMHA recently announced that spring tryouts have also been cancelled. As soon as we know when they will be rescheduled, it will be posted on wsmha.com.  I encourage you to visit the website and follow our social channels FacebookTwitter and Instagram to keep updated on the latest.

Thank you again to all of our hockey families. As we look forward to next season, please stay active and please be safe; wash your hands, stay home, and practice social distancing so we can all get back to the rink as soon as possible.

Yours in hockey,

Mike
