Attention All Rep Coaches & Managers - Important dates
Pre-season Rep Staff Meetings
As we are gearing up for the 2010 / 2011 season, we have a number of critical meetings planned to help organize Rep teams and the Rep team calendars. Rep Coaches and Managers are asked to ensure that their teams are represented at the following meetings:
Tuesday, August 24, 7:30pm Stouffville Arena- Pre-scheduling Meeting
All Rep Coaches or whoever will be representing their teams at the scheduling meetings on August 25 and September 2 (this date has now been confirmed) must attend.
There are several changes to the scheduling process this year that schedulers need to be aware of. Calendars for the A scheduling meeting will be distributed at this meeting. Calendars for the AE scheduling meeting will be provided after incorporating the impact of the scheduled A games to ice availability.
Tuesday, August 31, 7:30pm Stouffville Arena- Rep Team Webmaster Training Meeting
The WSMHA website has dedicated webpages for each team. Each Rep team will be provided access to update their team website with team information, news, events, game results, etc. The Head Coach for each rep team needs to identify a webmaster (one only) for your team and send his or her name and email address to Charlene Mason ASAP. This meeting will provide training session for all Rep webmasters to familiarize them with the capabilities of the new system, expectations, policies and procedures.
TUESDAY, September 7, 7:30pm Stouffville Arena- Rep Managers Meeting
All rostered Rep Managers must attend. The rostered Manager is the individual identified on your OMHA team roster as the team Manager and he/she must be one of two people on the roster with cheque-signing authority. Please note - we recognize that teams often have other individuals providing invaluable support by assisting with various team functions. However, the OMHA and the WSMHA will only recognize the officially rostered team Manager as being accountable for certain roles and responsibilities, as such it is important that the rostered Manager attend this function.
We are all looking forward to another excellent year of hockey in our community, and we truly appreciate the dedication and service each of you and your team volunteer staff commit to bringing hockey to life in Stouffville.
Thank-you in advance for your team spirit, commitment and the time you generously give to our community membership.
