Volunteer Award Nomination
With the end of another season now a few weeks away, the
WSMHA is preparing for the Annual General Meeting. Part of the meeting is
presenting the annual awards to members of the association.
One of these awards is the Steve Wright Memorial Award.
Steve Wright was a long time coach in our Association and in his memory an award was created to recognize the efforts and contributions of other volunteers (coaches, assistant coaches, managers, or trainers). Nominees are those who have consistently demonstrated their commitment to the interest of the players of our Association and Stouffville Minor Hockey in general. Typically, past winners are people who have been involved with the Association for several years and have gone “above and beyond” in their team official duties.
The award will be presented to the successful nominee at the Annual General Meeting to be held on Wednesday April 19, 2023.
The deadline for nominations is March 11, 2023. All nominations should be sent to [email protected] using the provided nomination form.
