WSMHA Programming for U9 and below for the 2023-24 season
The Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) and Ontario Minor Hockey
Association (OMHA) have updated the Playing Regulations for the 2023-24 season
including changes for U7, U8, and U9 programming. In response to these changes,
the WSMHA will facilitate programming in line with these adjustments for our
youngest players.
For the upcoming season, in addition to House
League Programming, WSMHA expects to offer
Rostered Select and MD Teams for our U8 and U9 age groups. At the U7 age
group, we will offer House League and additional development programming
options that will be dependent on registration. More details to come over the
summer months.
Evaluations Phase will begin in September. Dates and details to
follow.
