New V.I.P. Program
Submitted By Charlene Mason on Tuesday, October 19, 2010
The WSMHA is pleased to announce it's new V.I.P. (Very Important Player) program.  In partnership with Boyd's Source for Sports, the Association will honour one player each week from its House League as the V.I.P. of the Week.

Players from the Initiation Program, Novice, Atom and Peewee Divisions will be eligible.  Players will be selected by coaches and convenors based on their contribution to their team.  Selection criteria will include work ethic, sportsmanship, leadership, teamwork as well as skills.

Weekly winners will be announced on our website- wsmha.com. Players selected as V.I.P. of the Week will receive a Bauer Mini-Stick and a skate sharpening coupon (value $30) courtesy of Boyd's Source for Sports.  In addition, each weekly winner will have his or her name entered in a draw at the end of the season for the V.I.P. "grand prize"- a pair of Bauer skates.
