WSMHA Rostered Select Program Expansion Planned for 2012-2013 Season!
Submitted By Nathan Tratnik on Friday, June 1, 2012
The WSMHA is pleased to announce that it is expanding its Rostered Select  program for the 2012-13 season.  The program is designed to offer House League players an opportunity to participate in exhibition and tournament games with other centres in addition to their regular House League schedule.  Interested players will be invited to tryout for these teams in late September.

Rostered Select teams may play up to two exhibition games per month as well as three week-end tournaments over the course of a season.  Please note: Rostered Select competition is NON-CONTACT; body-checking is prohibited.  Also, of interest to many players, you may be included on a Rostered Select team, and still be eligible to 'AP' for a WSMHA rep team.

The WSMHA is planning to offer teams in the following divisions, subject to adequate interest and sufficient coaching staff support:

  • Novice-2004
  • Atom-2002/2003
  • Pee Wee-2000/2001
  • Bantam - 1998/1999
  • Minor Midget- 1997
  • Midget -1996/1995
If you are interested in a Head Coaching Position, please submit the coaching application form (available on the the website) to the hockey office by June 15/2012. Coach selection will include an interview process and final coach selection must be approved by the WSMHA Board.

If you have any questions please contact Tammy De Luca- [email protected].

More information regarding try-out dates will be provided on the website in due course.
