WHERE IT ALL BEGINS...
Submitted By Nathan Tratnik on Sunday, September 23, 2012
For those who have been haunting the hockey arena for more years than you can remember... For those who don't have to be asked how their coffee is taken by the snack bar attendants... For those who haven't braved the 6am - get out of bed and get to the arena, little ones and siblings in tow...

Have a peek at memory lane... The INITIATION PROGRAMME, which has well over 200 of our members aged from as young as 3 to upwards of 7, crossing 4 distinct levels (Acton, May, Hassard and Novice), hit the ice the past 2 weekends for their preliminary skating evaluations.  It's chaos in motion, folks, and our chief conductor, KRISTAL KOBOLD

managed to get families in & out the door with relative ease.

Thanks to our 2 highschool volunteers, Harry Tratnik and Ayden Hughes, who have been helping Kristal and the IP coaches, and Dean Allen for helping with skating evaluations.  The evaluations continue for a couple of groups on Sunday, September 23rd, after which the preliminary team assignments will be advised to families and the coaches will start their practice sessions as a team.

Check out some of our FUTURE STARS on the link.
