The Minor Bantam AE team bring home the gold from the Bradford Blue & Gold tournament. The team went undefeated thru 5 games with 4 wins and 1 tie. Friday's round robin games they faced the Waterloo Ice Wolves and battled to a 2 -2 tie. Later that evening playing against the Newmarket Redmen, the Clippers came ahead with a 3 - 1 victory. 2 more round robin games on Saturday saw them play The Belleville Jr. Bulls where they won 6 - 1 and secured a spot in the finals. Saturday nights final round robin game had them facing the Brampton Bears where they finished with a 3 - 0 victory. Sunday's Championship game was played in Beeton against the Waterloo Ice Wolves.

The Clippers scored early to take the lead. Waterloo battled back to tie and then take the lead in the 2nd period. With 6:38 left in the 3rd period, the Clippers were able to tie the game. Then with 5:32 seconds left in the game, after some back and forth battles, The Clippers get the go ahead goal. Some intense hockey came after with Waterloo pulling their goalie trying to get the equalizer. Time ran out and the Clippers were able to throw their gloves in the air with a well earned victory.

There were a lot of tense moments through out the weekend, but the players didn't quit. The players for the Minor Bantam AE Clippers are Jack Valleau, Liam MacInnis, Nick Olidis, Ryan Cusack, Robert Hume, Michael Hary, Tim Arnold, Christopher Leinwand, Jordan Lewis, Joey Metauro, Mathieu Kovac, Nathan Tratnik, Jacob Turney, Michael Messina, Mark Assal, Liam Sitlani, Christopher Temelkovski and the 2 goalies Juan Rivera and Ethan Volpe.
