The Peewee 'A' Clippers came out of the gate hitting everything in sight and skated away with a convincing
6-2 victory over Nobleking in a York SImcoe tilt played Sunday in Stouffville.
The third straight win allows the Clippers to claw their way back into a very tight playoff race.
Messner (#2) lit the red light four times, while
Dunlop (#8) and
Horner (#88) added single tallies, as the Clippers displayed one of their best checking efforts of the season.
Gibbons (#18) collected four assists,
Rodgers (#10) had a pair, while
Dunlop (#8) and
Gunathunge (#17) had one each.
Stevens (#29) picked up the win between the pipes.
Encouraged, Coach Joe remarked, "Nice to see the team playing solid hockey. From goaltending to defense up to forward we are playing as a group. Lots of checking and up tempo hockey is what I demand and the kids are starting to buy into the system."

That's three wins in a row in regular season play, following a significant 3-1 win against Newmarket Redmen on Friday, Dec 3rd.
