WSMHA is hiring!
The WSMHA has two part time positions available for the 2019-20 season. Deadline to apply is April 15th

WSMHA Ice Scheduler:
The WSMHA seeks to hire an Ice Scheduler for the 2019-20 season.  This is a salaried part-time position.  The employment period commences August 15 and concludes April 15.  Hours are variable but on average will not exceed 10 hours per week.  The employee can perform the majority of his/her duties from home.  The Ice Scheduler will allocate the Association’s ice allotment among WSMHA programs, scheduling and publishing games and practices for House League, Rep and Rostered Select teams.  



He/she will be responsible for reconciling ice rental invoices and contracts.  They will interface with the Town, counterparts in other associations as well as WSMHA convenors and coaches on ice scheduling issues. The successful candidate will be familiar with minor hockey, possess at least basic computer skills and be capable of managing a flexible work schedule.  For more information, or to submit an application please contact Charlene at the Hockey Office (905) 642-2835.

Referee/ Timekeeper Scheduler:

The WSMHA is currently seeking an individual to fill the position of WSMHA Referee/ Timekeeper Scheduler for the 2019-20 season.  This is a salaried, part-time, work-from-home position commencing September 1 and concluding April 30.  The Scheduler will be primarily responsible for assigning work to on-ice officials and timekeepers based on a pre-determined schedule of House League, Rostered Select and Rep team games. The successful candidate will have some familiarity with minor hockey and good interpersonal skills. They must be accessible by telephone or electronic communication device to deal with last-minute changes in schedules and personnel availability.
