Your Local Hockey House League Needs You
Submitted By Joe Palma on Saturday, June 19, 2010
For 2010/2011 WSMHA is once again proud to present a full roster of house league play ranging from the IP (initiation program) through to Midget/Juvenile age groups. We are fielding upwards of 40 house league teams - bringing the game of hockey to real life for over 500 kids from ages 4 - 18.

Our goal is to make this the highlight of the week for every kid on the ice - with a focus on skill development, teamwork, fitness, fair-play, and FUN.

Our program is only possible through the very generous commitment of an army of committed volunteers.  The hockey season depends wholly on volunteer coaches, assistant coaches, trainers and managers, supported by a another key group of convenors and board members all working together to make hockey happen for our community.

With our continuous growth, we are always in need of extra helping hands and YOU can make a difference.  The pay isn't great, but the rewards are both timeless and priceless.
