Control or Red Zone Arena Protocols
As a result of moving back into the “Control” or Red zone in York Region the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville facilities have some new restrictions

All patrons are now required to complete a Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville Screening & Contact Tracing form prior to entering any Town facility. One form per family (for parent and child) is acceptable. This process will be in addition to our existing Teamsnap Covid procedures that WSMHA has in place currently.

Here are the restrictions that will be in effect as of Monday November 16

  • Limit of 10 participants per rink (including coaches)
  • Parents of participants who are 12 & under are permitted in designated viewing areas
  • Recommended to sanitize upon entry and exit
  • Face covering is to be worn at all times (unless you are on the ice)
  • Participants are still expected to come fully dressed (exception: skates, gloves, helmets, goalie pads).
  • Participants are still expected to LEAVE fully dressed (exception: skates, gloves, helmet, goalie pads)
  • Benches are not to be used at any time
  • No games or scrimmages allowed
  • Ensure proper distancing at all times
  • No food or drink in the facility
  • Entry times (15 minutes prior) will remain the same
  • Public washrooms will still be available
