The Season for Giving...
As the month of December approaches, and the festive season kicks into full gear with the full assault of holiday madness, many in the community are organizing charitable events and donation drives to help those in need.
So many of our WSMHA members are involved in a variety of these events, and we are all very proud of contributions that our hockey teams make in this
Season of Giving. You need not look far if you are looking for an opportunity to give to a worthy cause. One such opportunity is to support
YELLOW BRICK HOUSE - YBH, a shelter in York Region to support and empower abused women and children.Sherry Cavanagh of the Novice AE Clippers, is collecting items to donate to YBH between now and
December 19th. The shelter is in need of a humbling list of items, many of the simple things which we take for granted. The full wish list can be viewed by clicking this link:

This is one worthy cause, amidst many, and there are many ways to give. Another worthy cause, closer to the rink, is making a donation to the Kids First Fund, to support hockey players in our association. For more information on Kids First, contact [email protected]
