HOUSE LEAGUE - Players' First Skate Next Weekend for Evaluations
Submitted By S Taylor on Saturday, September 8, 2012
Congrats parents - you have made it back to school this past week, finished up baseball, soccer and other summer activities, and now are ready for HOCKEY to get going.

Our hockey office has been receiving calls about when your son / daughter should come for their first session for House League hockey evaluations.  Our WSMHA - House League Council team of convenors has started to call families with information as to when to come out...

However, they have not as yet reached everyone.

For your further information, please consult the website HL calendar for your player's level.

The HL calendars can be accessed by selecting the correct league on the left side of the website, and clicking to that league page.  Calendars are at the bottom of the website page.  Evaluation sessions have all been denoted on each league's calendar.

Since we anticipate upwards of 60-70 players in Atom & Peewee, there are 3 distinct sessions for each evaluation.  For the other divisions there are fewer sessions: 1 for Initiation Programme Acton; 1 for IP May; 2 for IP Hassard, Novice, Bantam & 3 for Midget/Juvenile.  Your convenor should advise you which session to attend.

If you have not been contacted by your convenor by Sept 13th, and advised which evaluation session to come to, please contact the hockey office or contact our HLC Chair, Kristal Kobold ([email protected]).

Please plan to arrive at least 45 minutes before your ice time.  The convenors and our team of volunteers need to sign you in and assign pinnies for the evaluation sessions.

THANKS VERY MUCH IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR PATIENCE!!!!  It's a very busy time of year for everyone, and most of our volunteers also have kids to schlepp to school, hockey and all this extra organizational stuff.  Your support is much appreciated.
