Novice to Bantam - Houseleague Goalie Training
Submitted By charlene on Monday, October 15, 2012
Begins Monday, October 22nd.

The WSMHA is dedicated to development and enjoyment of the Association's hockey players. One aspect of that development is the provision of special training for our house league goaltenders. This year, the WSMHA is pleased to announce that it has enlisted the services of Carson Bird as Head Goalie Instructor.

The House League Goalie Training Sessions will be conducted as follows:
TIME:           Mondays at 5:15 P.M.
PLACE:         Pad B; Stouffville Arena
DATES:        22-Oct; 5-Nov; 19-Nov; 3-Dec; 10-Dec; 17-Dec.

DIVISIONS:  Novice, Atom, Peewee, Bantam

Carson is well qualified to train the Association's goalies. Carson is the Head Instructor of Carson Bird Hockey School, as well as a Head Goalie Instructor at Puckhogs Training Centre and Head Goalie Development for the CYO Hockey Association. Carson has also been a part of Goalie Development for the Whitby Wildcats and the Central Ontario Wolves AAA organization. Throughout the 2011-12 Season, Carson worked with boys and girls teams in the OMHA and GTHL. Carson has AAA as well as Junior A and Junior C experience. Over Carson's playing history, he has been invited to attend the Ontario Under 17 Selection Camp as well as the Oshawa Generals OHL Main Camp.
