The WSMHA House League Hockey Program is intended for all players, no matter what skill level, they all benefit from the opportunity to participate. House League allows players to enjoy the sport of hockey in a controlled, fun, non-checking environment, while improving the players' individual and team skills through practice and games. Emphasis is on players' skills, sportsmanship and love of the game. All players will be given equal playing time during games, regardless of game situations. Continued skill acquisition and development are the primary goals of house league. Winning or losing takes a backseat to the development of every WSMHA player in our house league.
The House League program will commence on September 28, 2024 and run until the last weekend of March 2025. A Division Convenor will be in touch in mid September with your first day ice time. Once teams are confirmed, then a team schedule will be available on the website.
With your house league registration, each player will receive a team jersey with matching socks, a team photo and an individual player photo. On the last day, Championship Day, a season celebration is held for each team in the lobby of the arena with the presentation of team or individual medals all while enjoying snacks and drinks with their team mates.
Below are the times for the 2024 - 2025 house league program. These times (listed times are start times) may change based on the number of teams in each division. Each team will rotate through the different times allocated to their division.
Games are played on Saturday and team practices are held on Sunday.
