In an epic YS semi-final series, which featured a tie and five games decided by a one goal margin, the Clippers AA battled toe-to-toe with the TNT Tornadoes, the first place finishers in the regular season, and triumphed with a thrilling 3-2 victory at home in game 6.

What better way to shrug off the struggles of the second half of the regular season and prepare to do battle in the York-Simcoe playoffs, then by winning a tournament. And that is exactly what our Clippers did this past weekend at the Blizzard Challenge Tournament in Niagara Falls, New York.

The Clippers Atom AA team did Stouffville proud by making it to the finals of the Pittsburgh tournament over the weekend.

The Atom AA team made two long treks for mid-week games against TNT and Barrie. On Tuesday at TNT, the Clippers played a strong game particularly in the first half of the game when they carried the play to the Tornados.
