The first annual WSMHA Family Day Weekend Jamboree was held Saturday, February 19th, for the Acton and May division house league teams. About 100 kids participated in three mini games, skill competitions and fun drills on the ice. All eight teams were out there skating and having fun for two hours each. After their ice time, they met in the lobby for some well deserved pizza, juice, and a few other little treats to remember the day.
The Jamboree would not have been possible without the enthusiastic contribution of so many coaches and parent volunteers. Thank-you to all that helped out (and especially to those few of you who stayed on the ice for four hours straight!).
Congratulations to the Colorado Timbits for the Acton division, and the LA Timbits for the May division, who ended up with the most points when the Jamboree was finished. Both of these teams will receive a team set of personalized hockey cards. Way to go!
