Major Bantam "AA", 2011-2012 (Whitchurch Stouffville Minor Hockey Association)

The Stouffville Clipper Bantam AA's have defeated Whitby in the East Semi-Finals to advance to the OMHA Finals. The Clippers won the first 2 games of the series and going into the 3rd game, they gave up a 2 goal lead to lose to Whitby by a score of 3-2.  In the 4th game, the Clippers were down 3-0 going into the 3rd period and battled back to tie the game 3-3 with only minutes remaining in the game.   In the 5th game on home ice, the Clippers, in dramatic fashion, scored 5 unanswered goals in the 3rd period to win the game 6-4 and take the series. The Bantam AA Clippers are the League champions after defeating Aurora 3 games to 1 in the quarter final playoffs.    In previous playoff action, the Clippers won their 1st series against Tottenham 3 games to 2.  In the 2nd round, the Clippers bounced back from being winless in the first 3 games, to winning 3 games straight and taking the series against Barrie. The Clippers now advance to the East semi-finals.  Congratulations to the boys for a job well done and best of luck in the next round! 

The Bantam AA Clippers went undefeated through all 5 games to win the championship at the Chicago Fall Classic tournament on Oct 23.   Congratulations to the boys and coaching staff for a solid performance throughout the tournament!
