Atom AE Finalists at both the Adam Keunen Memorial Classic and Justin Williams AE Early Bird Tournament, News, Major Atom "AE", 2016-2017, Rep (Whitchurch Stouffville Minor Hockey Association)

Congratulations to the Atom AE team who were finalists at the Adam Keunen Memorial Classic in Grimsby the weekend of Oct 14. As well as finishing as a Finalist in the Justin Williams AE Early Bird Tournament in Cobourg.


Congratulations to the Atom AE team who were finalists at the Adam Keunen Memorial Classic in Grimsby the weekend of Oct 14. The team finished 2-0 after Round Robin Play defeating Glanbrook Rangers 4-0 and LaSalle Sabres 3-1.   After Defeating Fort Erie 3-1 in the quarter finals, the Clippers went on to face Collingwood Blackhawks 3-2 in a thrilling and spirited game in the semi-final.

The final had the Clippers face the #1 ranked London Bandits, the boys put up a tremendous fight with fantastic back and forth play, but we fell short in the last few minutes of the period losing the final 4-3. Congratulations boys on a tremendous performance. Well Done Boys!




The Clippers Atom AE team also finished as Finalist in the Justin Williams AE Early Bird Tournament in Cobourg. Finishing 2-1-0 after Round Robin play defeating Milton Winterhawks 5-3 & Ajax Knights 3-2 and with a loss to the Oakville Rangers 3-0.  The boys played a hard fought Semi-Final game against the Clarington Toros defeating them 1-0. In the final game, the boys faced the Oakville Rangers despite a great effort they lost the final game.
