Novice AE brings home the Gold from Detroit
The Novice AE team took home the Championship trophy this past weekend at the Detroit Motown Cup Tournament Series. The team went undefeated in the round-robin to go in to the final in first place.
On Saturday, the Clippers opened the tournament with an impressive 2-0 win over the Flamborough Sabers. Early Sunday morning they went up against the Halton Hills Thunder and won 14-0. Later that afternoon playing against the Sault Ste. Marie Royal Purple Knights, the Clippers came ahead with a 8-1 victory. Monday's Championship game was played against the Flamborough Sabers and the Clippers brought home the gold, with a victory score of 9-0.
It was a full team effort that made the coaching staff and parents extremely proud of the boys. Way to go Clippers!
The players for the Novice AE Clippers are Calen Arnold, Carter Banville, Jordan Brown, Matthew D'Angelo, Christian DiBello, Hunter Folkes, Evan Frost, Drew Gibson, Blake Hall, Conor Jackson, Christopher Lallone, Darius Lovejoy, Kaiden Piedrahita, Harkin Porter, Ben Wu and the goalie is Zach Baine.
