D-Zone Coverage: Box + 1

This is the defensive zone coverage I was going over with the kids
during practice! This is the best video I could find describing the "box
plus 1". It's a very simple defensive zone coverage that we'll be
evolving into a more aggressive defense as the year goes on. Like I told
the kids, we need to master this asap so we can evolve it. The box
makes the breakout a little more difficult but they need to understand
it before moving forward! Please have your child watch the video so it
can reiterate what I've showed them today! It's not mandatory but it
would help out so much.
