Congratulations to the Clippers Major Atom AE team on their gold medal win this past weekend at the Markham Waxers Early Bird. The Clippers were 4-0, defeating Milton (4-1), Erin (5-3), Ancaster (8-1) and in the final medal match, Markham (3-2). The Clippers forwards and defense did a great job of getting the puck out of our end, and the goalies made key saves throughout the tournament. In the end, it was the outstanding team play that proved to be the key ingredient in the victory over Markham.
