Regular Games
Two regular season games played last weekend.  It was the first meeting with Markham since last year.  The kids were excited to see how they would play and if they'd be the same type of team as last year.  So out the kids came and started off the game with a quick first goal.  Francesco passed the puck up to Jaiden, then he passed it over to Lucas, who then put it in the net!  The rest of the first period there were lots of shots, but neither team would score.  Joesph was terrific in net!!

Second period it was Markham's turn to score the only goals.  The kids were trying hard and getting shots, but couldn't get the puck into Markham's net.  Third period the kids started to come back with a goal by Jaiden with help from his team mates.  Then Jack dug the puck out of the corner, rushed down the ice with it, got into Markham's zone and passed it to Jaiden and they scored working together!  But Markham came back and won, that was the first meeting between the kids and Markham, there are more to come.
Sunday, another shot at Richmond Hill came.  The kids were determined to show Richmond Hill a better game this time.  They came out tough and scored the first goal of the game with Sebastian scoring with help from his line mates. Then Richmond Hill answered back with a goal, so the kids pushed and Lucas scored one with help from Fam.  Second period Richmond Hill scored a quick one, but the kids didn't give up and kept getting shots on Richmond Hill's net.  With the defence keeping the puck at the blue line and supporting Luca in net.  The forwards kept rushing into Richmond Hill's zone and passing to one another, the hard work paid off and Jaiden scored.
It was a back and forth game, the coaches, parents and kids were very excited!  The kids were pumped and played tough.  Nicholas rushes a player and passes the puck over to Fam and Fam scored.  Richmond Hill answers back.  Jaiden came down and scored one with help from his linemates, but then Richmond Hill scored a goal.
The kids pushed but ran out of time to get another one.  It was an exciting game!  Now Richmond Hill knows the Clippers are tougher than they thought.
