Home & Away Season Openers
Well, the hockey season has officially begun!  The kids had their home and away season openers.
Home opener was against New Tecumseth TNT, the kids were anxious to get started and try to get their first win of the season!
It was a tough game, in the first period both teams were getting some good chances.  But no goals were scored until the 2nd period, TNT came out and scored two goals.
Then in the 3rd period the kids answered back.  They were trying to get more shots on net, more passes to each other.

Then Seb scored his first goal of the season with help from Savannah and Jeremy.  Jaiden also scored his first goal in this game with a pass up from Cole R and Lucas.  It was a tough game, TNT won this one.
But it is just the beginning of the season and lots more games to come!!
Then the first away game was against Georgina on Tuesday night up in Keswick.
The kids were excited to have another game so quick and another chance to try and win.  They all played well and worked to get the shots on net and to keep the puck out of their end and keep it out of the net.  In the first period John scored his first goal of the season with a pass from Seb.  Then along came Mason and Jaiden with help from their line mates each scored a goal.
Into the 2nd period, John Paul scored his first goal with a pass up from his teammate Francesco. Then Mason with a pass from Lucas and Cole C, scored.  Jeremy followed with a pass from his defence, he skated up the ice and scored his first goal of the season.
The 3rd period started with a goal by Jaiden with help from his line mate Lucas.  Lucas then scored his first goal of the season, this time with Jaiden doing the passing.
The coaches offered up a chance for the forwards to play defence and let some of their defence team mates have a chance to play forward.  Nicholas, Mason and John volunteered to play defence.  Cole Clements was moved up to a forward position and he raced down the ice with his line mates and was able to score his first goal of the season!  As well as Fam and Seb scoring goals it was a exciting win.
And a shut out for Joseph!
